Adorable Family at Morro Rock

The Brannon family was just adorable during their family session. We headed out to Morro Bay and enjoyed the amazing views. Mom and Dad got to cuddle and the kids had a blast playing in the sand. Family sessions like this are always so fun! When the kids have fun, everyone has fun.

We started out with some family photos including all of them. After the more posed photos were done, they simply played as a family. I love to get photos of the interactions. Motion makes it all magic and when kids get to just play with their parents, it all comes together so perfectly.

After the full family photos were done, we moved on to the kids with each parent. Every child is different and I love to capture the relationship each child has with their parents. For these photos, I get some with Dad and the kids and some with Mom and the kids. These really showcase the individual relationship each family member shares.

Lastly, we focused on more individual photos. Mom and Dad rarely get to have a moment of just the two of them, so I like to get some photos for them. Getting them together is always special and most couples really enjoy having pictures of just the two of them. This is also when I like to get individual photos of the kids as well as sibling shots.

In this case, I made sure to get some twins photos. Of course we needed those!

This family was such a joy to work with and I hope to do it again very soon. Morro Bay provided the perfect backdrop for this session and I’m so glad we were able to have Morro Rock visible in the background! What are the chances?
