Pink Carnival Cake Smash
Pink Cake Smash
This little one was all about the pink for her cake smash session. Once we decided on the colors, everything else seemed to fall right into place. Mom ordered the perfect little cake topper and we were all set!
Before The Pink Cake
As with all my studio cake smash sessions, I started out with a short photo session of just the birthday girl. She took a little while to warm up, but she was full of adorable smiles as we got to know each other a bit.
After making friends with my teddy bear, she warmed up quite a bit. The bear seems to have a way of doing that. She happily accepted the challenge of my little white chair and explored the science behind the white stool and how it worked to stay upright.
We ended this portion of the session with the carousel horse. She was a little too young to ride the horse, but she had fun pretending.
Cake Time
This was an impressive cake and the topper just fit. This little one was a little hesitant to try the cake at first. It’s common for the birthday kiddo to be a little shy when it comes to the cake. Most don’t know what they are supposed to do with it. Some have never had cake or anything like it before. So it’s understandable that they need a few moments to check it out.
Once she got a little taste of the cake, she loved it. After that, the smiles came easy and the rest of the photoshoot went smoothly. I’m so happy with how this session turned out and I hope you love it too!
Just Baked Cakes
